UPDATE: Yesterday (Friday October 6th, 2017) I received the Urgent Notice in the mail dated October 5th, 2017. It stated that if my past due amount was not paid within five days of this notice that it would be disconnected. So how was my water turned off (Thursday October 5th, 2017) when I did not receive the Urgent 5 Day notice until the following day? Got an answer for me Charlotte County Utilities?

I called before they left at 4:45 pm, was put on hold for 10 minutes and then was told I called too late. I asked if my water would be shut off and they said they didn't know. The worst customer service I have ever seen. If you can use someone else, do so. This is a sad joke

Nobody to answer inquires in engineering dept during lunch period! Error in records regarding lien on commercial property is causing an unnecessary delay. Have receipt that's it's paid. This is second time I've had problems with Charlotte county utilities. The first time they cashed a check addressed to me and applied $1400 towards someone's water bill. Apparently the utilities post office box is near mine and the post office erroneously placed it in their box. They just posted it even though it wasn't made out to them. Waited a long time for the refund because they only cut checks twice a month. Shameful! I think someone should audit their accounting department before someone goes to the newspaper.

Recently while crews were installing satellite reading nodes a situation arose that required a extensive repair. Jason Dugan & crew arrived in a timely manner and handled the problem. The problem was across the street but the main shut off was on my side, so hence a large piece of equipment had to be used. These men worked till early in the morning and when they had finished I could not believe the next day how they had refinished my property. Short of the grass missing you wouldn't know anything happened. Great job guys.

If I could move out of Charlotte County just to avoid using Charlotte County Utilities I would! Do they not understand that we just had a hurricane happen and everyone is just now starting to get back on there feet?!? FPL, most phone companies, banks, etc all understand! But leave it to Charlotte County Ulilities to once again prove that they don't run with the pack (not in a good way). I NEVER RECEIVE AN URGENT NOTICE IN THE MAIL!!! All I receive is a bill and two days later my water is off! I witnessed the man come by and go to about 3 different houses on my street and when he noticed me looking at him he giggled. I am appalled! So its funny that I dont have water in my home and I cant get it restored until I pay however much money and you decide to come and turn it back on? Wow! Yet I am forced to pay an additional $55 to have it restored on top of the bill, on top of whatever other fees they add in! Ridiculous! I wasn't given no option for a payment plan and whenever I do have to pay a bill I have to pay that $3.95 "convince fee". I was told online I wouldn't get charged but I've tried using the website several times with no success past log in. When I spoke to a representative I was told there was nothing they could do if I had already tried the website besides coming into the office! But the office closes at "4:45pm".. Sometimes! Ms. Beverly is the only woman in that office that has helped me go through my bill and answer any questions. Everyone else that I've met have been rude! I can go on all day but there just isn't enough time to complain about how disgraceful this water company is. Wish I could go through someone else. I would rate them -55 stars if I could to match their dumb fee!

Customer service representative was extremely rude when I tried to get to the bottom of an email they claimed to have sent that we never received. Requested the email be "resent" so we could verify the information, still waiting for both the email and a call back from a supervisor 5 hours later.
