I usually have really good service at this store. Today I went there o get a riding lawn mower with an 42 inch blade for 999. They're the only store local that does free local drop off, if you don't have a truck. They didn't have the product in stock, very disappointed. Now I got to go over to their competitor and have to rent a vehicle just to get it home. If you have a good product I think you should stock it well that way it's available for the consumers. Customer service was okay mediocre at best. Probably all stressed out from the hurricane 3 weeks ago
Found item I was looking for, had incorrect price and item description. Went to customer service with both items and price was adjusted and I purchased the correct item. All good.
The person in the Plumbing Dept. Was helpful and knowledgeable. He stopped restocking and assisted me. I was in and out in minutes.
They had emergency shipments of lumber for hurricane Irma. The store associates delegated the sale of the lumber efficiently, quickly, and we're all very helpful loading the lumber into everyone's vehicles
After ordering over $4,000. in plants, I returned 8 plants that had died within 9 months. I had the purchase receipts. There was not much left of the plants other than a root ball and the dead above ground growth. I was told the plants were not identifiable and therefor not able to be returned under the 12 month warranty. I explained these were 8 plants out of 400 plants purchased and was told that did not matter. I asked if I should bring them back alive to return them within the 12 months warranty and the not too bright employee who claimed to be management said that would be a good idea.
Home Depot understands this situation much better than Lowes.
