I am listing this rating at a 3... Not because of the actual Publix itself but the environment in this Publix is not a friendly one. I don't know if it is because of the area of town, or weekends in this particular store, but during each of my last 7 visits there, including today, over the past 8 weeks the majority of the other CUSTOMERS are quite rude and just downright "angry" individuals. From being almost run over twice in the parking lot, being hit with a shopping cart 3 in the aisles as people weaved from one row around to the next 3 times, to folks telling me to move the f out of their way. I find shopping here extremely stressful. This store is like every other Publix, grocery wise, and I understand that grocery stores are not meant to be super social places, however I do believe that in today's day and age we should be able to go and purchase groceries in a calm and relaxing environment without crotchety people who are angry at the world. This place definitely contains a hostile environment. It isn't just me that thinks so either....I have taken family members, a co-worker, and my best friend and they too have stated they do not want to return to this place. I'm not sure that Publix can really do anything to change this negativity but in my opinion if you don't want to add more stress and angst to your daily life do not go to the store. Today will be my last visit there.
We came to this Publix with a very specific request. We just took our 4 year old daughter to the doctor and she received some shots. We wanted to reward her bravery with a treat of her choice. I'm traditional 4 year old fashion the requested great was a pink donut with rainbow sprinkles. If it were morning time that wouldn't be a tall request, but at 3 in the afternoon not so easy. The bakery staff was friendly and accommodating. They even had to make the pink color and did so promptly and provided just the cure for my little girl's pokes. We love Publix and their service, but I wanted to make sure that people heard about such a great experience.
Disgusted that you are not closing to keep your employee's safe. They shouldn't be driving in this. They need to know tomorrow that they can prepare. Your employees are upset and corporate should know and care. After Saturday at noon it is in God's hands and the Red Cross. You may make a buck but you will suffer greatly with morale. Great leaders know that. My company gave us 2 days off. 22,000 happy employees here.
Best place to shop. Everyone is very courteous and helpful. I shop there all the time. I would like to thank and recognize the following associates....Bibi, Haley W, Eddie and Jamie. You guys do a excellent job there. Keep up the good work. Publix should be proud to have you guys working for them.
Submitted two prescriptions to be filled, clerk said I could pick them up in 24 hours. I went back the next day and asked for my prescriptions. Pharmacist denied that I had any to be picked up.? I pointed to the the pharmacist I saw and interacted with 24 hours earlier when I dropped off the prescriptions who flatly denied that I was there or that I had dropped it off. Leaving disappointed and angry, I now had to go back to the doctor to get two new prescriptions and go somewhere else to get them filled. I do not recommend anyone doing business with Publix Pharmacy
