I was in Perkins today . My waitress. Kay was awesome. She was polite informative and very friendly. The breakfast was good. Hot and fresh. My friend and I sat eat and talk for about 2 hrs . Just a nice experience.
Ordered the grilled fish with shrimp and mashed potatoes. The fish and shrimp were both dry and overcooked. I then ordered the turkey with dressing and the dressing was not cooked properly and was very dry. That was my 2nd visit to Perkins. The 1st time was very good. Don't know what happened this time.
Always get my eggs wrong. I can explain and its still wrong. So I stop going there.
Nice ambience, good service, reasonable prices. Off rush hours are the best time to visit. Visit on your Birthday for a free breakfast meal. (Must have the birthday offer App on your phone to show the cashier)
We stopped two days after hurricane Irma. They opened for lunch with a limited menu. Despite a very small staff, they were great. Warm smiles and positive attitudes. It made our day so much better. The food was perfect! Thanks so much for awesome staff.
