Very helpful staff.
We stayed here with our dog for 3 weeks in a king suite. The staff were great - personable and always happy to help. The property inside and out was clean and attractive. Breakfast was always a really nice spread with eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit, breads, muffins & danishes, cereal, and more! Their coffee was really tasty; and hot, fresh coffee & cookies or granola bars were always available. Only drawback was that although they are pet-friendly, there was only one little spot of grass with no bags for pet waste. But overall I enjoyed staying here, and would highly recommend it to others.
A nice place. Clean and well maintained. Everyone was so nice and helpful. My one issue that initialy caused a 4 star rating is that the A/C in my room (#404) was so loud for the first few minutes everytime it started.... I could barely hear the TV. I asked to have it looked at... and they fixed it.
If I could give a 0 I would. Lied to over and over by the staff about the availability of our room. Drove overnight and had to sleep in our car due to their lies. Room was just eh nothing to write home about. Bed was hard as a rock. House keeping didn't come clean our room 1 day. Called for towels and never got them. We come to FL numerous times a year and I won't give this place another dime.
The front desk was helpful, friendly, and professional. Next time I go to Port Charlotte, I know where I'm staying!
Even during the worst of the storm, the room was cozy and felt safe. When we had a small issue, the front desk sent a maintenance worker right away, and he fixed it immediately. I learned from him that the owners of the hotel had allowed employees and their families to stay for free during the storm!
The battery on the TV remote was dead.... and it was fixed.
Clean rooms. Good service from front desk manager. We arrived late but we got to our room in less than 10 minutes. Breakfast was great, plenty of food.
We ended up enduring Hurricane Irma at this hotel, and let me tell you, the staff was going above and beyond that day.
