If you need or are considering getting anything done to your spine then look no further then Dr. Getter. Meeting him was just like getting together with an old friend he is efficient and explains everything to you so you feel comfortable in a scary situation and how above and beyond he goes for you to make sure you're taken care of. He did my discectomy about 3 weeks ago and against his wishes I was up and walking with no problem in 2 days and lifting furniture for our big move 4 days after surgery (sorry Doc). I don't even remember the crippling pain I was in for 3 months (waiting for insurance) any more at this point. Another thing that made me feel better was everyone in the hospital loved him and had him do their surgeries, now when you know every Dr in a hospital you pick the best one and it was always Dr Getter. Thank you so much for giving me my life back where I can run and carry my son again and provide for my family with out taking 30 Tylenol a day. Also a big thank you to his entire staff you can't have an amazing Dr without all the great help that he has there to.
Dr. Getter is hands down a phenomenal surgeon and just a "truly nice person." I literally went from being unable to ambulate, to fully mobile and without deficit, after my lumbar interbody fusion. I would recommend him to anyone with back pain or faced with the decision of spinal surgery. His staff is wonderful as well.
