With that being said, I’ve brought in clothes to sell once that were in beautiful condition. 4 FULL grocery bags in total. They informed me things needed to be brought in plastic bins/totes/baskets, no more bags. Ok, fine. I waited an hour for them to go through the bags. Ok, fine. I return, and they only kept about 1 bag worth of clothes and offered $16.... The rest were rejected because of stains (bullcrap) and shrinkage. I’ve got brand new items that had never been worn that they refused. Yet they take other clothes that have stains/holes, extremely faded and old, or are falling apart? NONE of my sons clothes were stained. And some pieces are missing from the sets now.
When I questioned the cashier about the majority of these perfectly good clothing items being rejected, yet they resell things that aren’t in near as good condition, she shrugged her shoulders and wouldn’t give me an answer.
Honestly, I’ll probably continue to buy here. There’s good finds for affordable prices. But going there to buy can be a total headache sometimes. And I’ll never try selling again.
This place is infuriating! I do not recommended it and I will never go back!
This place is a great idea, but NOT worth the hassle!!
The have a big selection of everything children from infants to preteen I believe but they don't offer very much when they make a purchase. I would try to sell online first next time and see how that goes. Overall we got pennies on the dollar for our goods and saved probably $45 by purchasing uniforms from them so I'm mostly satisfied. 3*** almost 4...
Today, we took 2 large totes and small one of barely used baby clothes, shoes, etc., (worn once, sometimes never at all!). I looked at clothes while there and was shocked to see sleepers with dirty feet! Seeing that, I thought for sure they would buy all of our stuff. We were given a strict pick up time, which, despite their poor attitudes, they missed. They bought barely anything, giving us a ticket citing that the clothes had " basic staining and wearing" (though they didnt take some things that were brand new, they sell clothes with dirty feet, and it is a consignment shop...). They also cited that the "styles were not currently in demand", yet they were all less than 1 year old. Finally, they cited that there were "missing pieces", which I have a major issue with, because they are VERY particular about having the clothes laid flat in bins, all sets together. When we got our stuff back, everything was thrown in the bins, and they had TAKEN PIECES OUT OF SETS! There were no missing pieces when it was dropped off, but there sure are now!
The staff is usually rude. No eye contact, short responses, shoulder shrugs, eye rolls, etc. The only t they actually seem pleasant is over the phone or when you’re making a large purchase.
When shopping, look over the items carefully. There are usually hidden stains, holes, and rips in the clothes. A lot of the items were WELL LOVED before being sold there. Lots of washes equals lots of fading and lots of pills on the fabric. The tags on the neck have sharpie on them a lot of the time. Buttons missing. Broken zippers. Shoes with barely any life left, that are caked with dirt and the soles coming unglued from the rubber on the bottom. But good items can be found if you look over the lot well.
Designer children and teen clothes for bottom dollar! Why pay retail???
Bought a Grayco swing for our granddaughter who was visiting. It worked perfectly but when I went to sell it back two weeks later I was told the electric plug extension did not match the swing. It was the same one they sold me. When I said I did nothing to the unit, it was the exact one you sold me I was told that I must have changed chords. I simply do not have grayco chords laying around my home. I was treated rudely and more or less told I was lying. I will never go back.
I also tried selling a playmat that they refused because they “don’t sell those here”, yet there was 2 hanging behind me on a rack and another 2 near the co-sleepers on one side of the store.
Outstanding customer service ! Truly exceptional experience! I highly recommend
