Great sales, advice and service....employees are all characters in their own right. I'm 3 miles from a bicycle shop on rt41 in Venice and I drive the 14 miles to Port Charlotte because of these folks.
Bought 3 bikes and accessories. Sales rep was very friendly and helpful. Overall was a very satisfying shopping experience. My grandson loves his new bike! So do my wife and I !! Would highly recommend this store

So I did leave (but didn't head to Walmart), and I won't even think of giving them future business if this is how they treat potential customers who are looking for some assistance.
Bicycle Center is about 5 minutes from my house, so I decided to stop in on my way home from work to get an idea of what they had and what kind of prices to expect. I walked in, and before I could even really look around, I was approached by an employee who asked what I was looking for. I explained the above, and he said that he could get a better idea by wanting to know how much I'm willing to spend. Not knowing what price range bikes currently start in, I said, "Well, maybe around a couple hundred per bike?" Instead of just explaining that they don't have bikes in that price range and showing me what they *do* have, he then (very rudely) told me to just go right on back out the door and head to "our favorite department store friends, Walmart" to find what I'm looking for.
I haven't owned or purchased a bike in a long time (maybe about 15 years ago is when I had my last bike; I'm 31 now). My husband and I recently decided to start shopping around for a bike for each of us, along with lights and a rack for them for my car.
